There is a Polish team playing in the eighth league that has only the Baltic Sea ahead of it.

Nörda Karwia – the northernmost football club and a sports ground of Poland.

“Norda” means “North” in the Cassubian language.

Karwia is a popular tourist destination. About 350 meters separates the centre of the pitch from the seashore.

The home of Nörda was rearranged from an old kiosk where fruits and vegetables were sold.

Player nicknames and numbers are written under the hangers.

There are pennants of former rivals and partners and the colours have been borrowed from Arka Gdynia.

After the local festival, held in August 2013, famous Polish-Ukrainian band “Enej” blessed the clubhouse by signing one of its walls.

There are also tin and wood changing rooms for the away team and the referees, decorated with the photos of clubs from the Puck region.

‘How much these walls have seen’, sighs the host.

The old mine cart is standing at the entrance. It has been converted to a grill. But there is no fire in it.

Geographical coordinates: 54.82994, 18.22889.
