Curva cravings
The World Cup doesn’t quite feel the same without the Azzurri but Danny Last is here to soothe your curva cravings with his beautifully colourful shots of Italian football grounds.
Based on the South Coast of England, Danny was sucked in by Channel 4’s Football Italia from 1992 onwards when they were the only kids on the block showing live football on terrestrial television. Gazza with his head in an Easter egg, Attilio Lombardo doing the lambada, Paul Heaton, Elvis Costello and, of course, James Richardson rustling pink Italian papers.
Danny shows that cumbersome camera equipment isn’t always a smart idea, particularly in with the ultras and sometimes, an iPhone, a good eye for framing shots and a lust for colour is just as useful.
