Reassuringly steep

Sometimes it’s nice to go into detail about the ambience of the ground and the atmosphere and all the elements that makes match-day what it is.

Sometimes though, the photos do all the talking and Edwin Westland’s images of the Mestalla in Valencia show up the steepness of its vast stands. Footballing vertigo in one of the best grounds in the world.
