Go Ahead Eagles played out a friendly in hot conditions vs Greek giants PAOK on Saturday.
The match was played at Sportcomplex Hanzepark in Zutphen, some 12 KM South of Deventer.
It is tradition in Holland for top teams to play friendlies at lower league clubs around their locality, which spreads the money around and also protects the main pitch.
A good contingent of PAOK fans backed the travelling side but mainly ones based in Germany rather than Thessaloniki.
The ground has lots of trains passing by (about 10 per match) with three different lines in both directions and a marshalling yard in the background.
Go Ahead ran out 2-1 winners but it was not a day for too much energy, in 33 degree temperatures.
