Not only is Mike Bayly a tremendously talented photographer but his work comes with a philosophical musing through the simple act of sitting and watching football.
His work deals with themes of longing, mortality, hope and despair and that’s not just the waiting for the last train at stations in the back of beyond.
He chooses his destinations thoughtfully and by visiting some of the most notable football grounds in the world, he invites us to sit down or lean against a crush barrier and drink it all in, wherever we may be.
Mike’s work is art, and this Turner of the terraces continues to craft pictures of the landscapes of football, that we look for in the distance.
